WorkQueuePay (single)

In 2014, Shoefiti gets back in the studio to record its new album Coriolis (release in march 2015). The first single is WorkQueuePay, released with a music video directed by Hugo Jouxtel (La Blogothèque).

Very efficient live, the studio take delivers a strong riff with a heavy fuzz, some organic analog noise showing the band's exploration of new sounds pushing its noisy boundaries further, a Les Savy Fav inspired guitar solo and a building tension until the very end.

This album was supported by the Paris Jeunes Talents Music prize.

Only Mountains Never Meet

(2012)

Shoefiti's first studio album, developped on the side of Henri's main bands. Many friends were invited in the studio to give a hand recording the songs. Same logic with the artwork and videos.

A promising debut album well received that led to a French, UK tour and a couple gigs in Asia.

Available in digital format with a name your price policy and in a very limited vinyl edition that includes a beautiful booklet with artwork done by Temujin Doran (aka Studiocanoe).

Also available in various independant record stores: L'International Records, Balades Sonores, Souffle continu, Pop Culture, Blind Spot, Total Heaven...

This album is part of Les Balades Sonore's selection of Febuary 2013 and is laureate of the Evoluson with Reseau Musiques 94.

Live on the Road

During a road trip across the United States through the road 66 and its surroundings, Henri traveled with his portable recorder and his guitar taping songs in the wild.

This leads to raw live performance blending with field recordings: Complicated Minds in the middle of the Ozark Lake cicadas; 1989, a song about childhood, recorded on a swing in Henri's primary school's playground and featuring childhood friend singing subtle backing vocals; Venice it was Nothing, the tale of a doomed honeymoon, while awakening from a shitty night in a shitty motel...

Of course, this is to be considered as bonus for the connoisseur who will appreciate getting lost in real life ambiances as much as acoustic raw recordings.

The artwork include photographs taken during the trip by photographer Julie Labarre Boileau.

Later, Henri included the same logic to unveil new songs through the series of videos called "The Chapel & Cliff sessions" (part I, part II).
